We just came back from Cozumel where we stayed at Villa Debra. We felt like we were in a palace. Beautifully furnished and decorated and had the most gorgeous views of the aqua blue water right out front! The balcony on the 2nd floor is almost indescribable! Deb had the house supplied with lots of bottled water and fresh fruit! The subdivision is away from the throngs of people usually found at the touristy beach hotels--but we felt totally safe with the 24-hour security. Also, the owner lives on Cozumel, so if needed could be there in a flash--but everything was perfect--so there was no need to call. For divers/snorkelers/sightseers, the dive boat picked us up right at the pier just a few steps in front of the house! Snorkeling in front of the house was amazing too--we saw lobsters, barracuda, flounder, small sting rays and a variety of beautifully colored fish. We got in the middle of a HUGE school of fish and videotaped as it moved around us--AMAZING! When we weren't in the "front yard" right off the pier, we made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. A cab ride into town for 4 of us was 13-15 depending on the size of the cab. We could go into town to shop and eat at restaurants, or go to the grocery store (there are several now) and prepare meals at the house. That's another thing--fully equipped kitchen--whether you prepare simple meals or gourmet, and enough utinsils to accommodate a small army! This was a fun and amazing house with lots of room and it was well equipped. My family and I highly recommend it. For those who like the party scene, the Money Bar (one of the most popular places on the island) is right down the road, with live music on weekends! Chaunkanaab Park, Ziplining and all of the fun beach clubs are just down the road as well--Mr. Sanchos, Playa Mia! I'm going to be thinking of ways to get more of my family and friends to come down to Cozumel so I have a reason to return to Villa Debra sooner! Fantastic place! I read the other reviews and our comments say it all--this place is just AWESOME! The pictures are nice, but they don't do justice to Villa Debra - you walk in and your eyes POP and your head says, "I'm in Paradise, pinch me!" Thank you Deb for sharing your fabulous home with us--we will return as soon as we can!

OUR FAMILY HAS BEEN GOING TO COZUMEL FOR SEVERAL YEARS BUT THIS IS OUR FIRST YEAR AT VILLA DEBRA AND WE ENJOYED IT EMINENCELY!!! THE VILLA ITSELF WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR, THE CLEANING SERVICE DID A GREAT JOB, DEB AND HER HUSBAND WERE THERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT WE HAD. WE HAD DINNER COOKED IN ONE NIGHT AND WE FELT TRUELY PAMPERED. WE ARE ALL DIVERS AND THE BENEFIT OF BEING PICKED UP RIGHT AT THE PIER WAS GREAT!! Our vacation at Villa Debra was absolutely wonderful! The house was beautiful... almost as beautiful as the view! The sunsets were spectacular, and that clear turquoise water... unbelievable! Deb greeted us at the airport, and got us nicely settled in, she was so helpful, and her recomendations were spot on. Our whole family, myself, my husband, two grown children and their spouses, and our two grandchildren ages 6 & 2, all went, Everyone of us had a great time! We opted to hire the chef service and were duly impressed. They came, cooked delicious meals, served us, and even cleaned up! It was to die for, and so convenient with the children. Deb recommended Albatross charters for a fishing trip, and those that went raved about them and their service. Picked up at the pier right in front of the villa, caught 3 big Wahoo, several baracuda and others. They cooked a scrumptuous lunch on the boat while the fishermen & woman snorkeled! Everyday was a new adventure. The house was immaculate, nicely furnished, very roomy, and well stocked with games, entertainment centers, and even beach and pool toys for the kids! Villa Debra~MORE than met our expectations. The photos do not do justice to this fine house and location. Every room in the house is beautifully decorated with large bedrooms each of which has its own granite bathroom. It's spacious living along with the feeling of being at home makes this house perfect for a single family or multiple families! The location is unbeatable including a beach front view, a lovely pool, and some fine snorkeling! Everything else that you might want to do is well within a 20 minute or less drive. Deb is a fantastic host. Her suggestions and recommendations make everything comfortable and enjoyable. She is familiar with not only the local people but the multitude of things to do while there and who to do them with. She made what was already a memorable trip that much more simple and enjoyable. Can't go wrong with this trip~it's one to remember and cherish!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary in the Caribbean with our children and we heard that the island of Cozumel was a great family vacation place. We did our internet research and saw many beachfront homes in the island. When we saw the pictures of Debra Villa, the amenities, location and the home was perfect for our needs. My husband and I with our two teenagers decided to rent the Villa in July of 2009. Deb was a great hostess she met us at the Airport and helped us get a car rental. Since it was our first time in the island she recommended restaurants, shopping, and attractions. When Deb showed us the Villa for the first time it was everything the website listed and more than what we expected. The home was beautiful, immaculate, spacious, the rooms were large with their own private bathrooms and the Master Bedroom was located in the entire second floor with a separate balcony. The master bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi tub and a glass shower. The private pier was a few steps away from the Villa and my husband and the kids jumped off the pier everyday and snorkeled in the aquamarine ocean. They saw the most amazing and colorful fishes. As soon as they were done swimming in the ocean they jumped in the infinity pool which was close to the Villa. The grounds were cleaned and well maintained daily. The property was located in a private secluded area of the island with other Villas but was close to attractions such as Paradise Beach and Chakanaab Park. My children went parasailing at Paradise Beach and swimming with the dolphins at Chakanaab Park. They had the most amazing experience. Many restaurants were close by such as Monkey Bar which we loved and snorkeling was great there too. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend the Debra Villa to family and friends. The only problem we had was that we had only rented the Villa for one week and wished we had stayed for two weeks which we will definitely do the next time we visit Cozumel.
